Our volunteer lifesavers have been patrolling Phillip Island's most popular beach, Smiths Beach, for several years, without an observation tower, first aid room or shelter from inclement weather. With approved and permitted architect's plans and a builder ready to roll, we're reaching out to Phillip Island community and visitors to help us keep Smiths Beach an enjoyable tourist destination.

Woolamai Beach SLSC members give their time and energy to voluntarily patrol Smiths Beach, as well as training to achieve the physical fitness and skills necessary to carry out rescues along some of Australia's most dangrous coastline. With patrolled beaches supporting the tourism that contributes 40% of the region's economy and employment, Woolamai Beach SLSC is calling on the Phillip Island community and visitors to help build the Smiths Beach Rescue Base and keep Phillip Island an enjoyable coastal resort.
