Congratulations to the newest life members of Woolamai Beach SLSC, Troy Ross and Clark Livingston in acknowledgement and appreciation of over 30 years of dedicated patrol service each, as well as being outstanding leaders and highly-awarded competitors.
San Remo's biggest day, and the flagship event of the Bass Coast Series, the 33rd San Remo Channel Challenge is being held Saturday 17 February, 2018.
Expect more fantastic competition and prizes as competitors battle it out for not only race honours in thir field, but also across the entire series, comprised of Cowes Classic on Saturday 3 February and Cape Paterson Biathlon.
With Bass Coast Shire Council, Phillip Island Nature Parks and San Remo Hotel-Motel already signed on as significant supporters, San Remo Channel Challenge's major sponsor is yet to be announced.

Tickets are now on sale for this years Annual Presentation Night. The Presentation Night is a chance for our members, partners, families and supporters to celebrate the season that was. It’s a time to welcome our latest brigade of Bronzies, to celebrate the new awards strived for and achieved, to recognize the difference our service makes and to honour those members who have made outstanding contributions in 2016/17.
Enrolments for the IRB Training Camp are now open.
This camp is for members wishing to obtain either the IRB Driver Award (Silver Medallion) or the IRB Crew Certificate. The aim of these courses is to help participants develop the skills and knowledge to safely and effectively drive or crew an Inflatable Rescue Boat (IRB).
Dates and Times
These courses run concurrently over a four day period from 7.15pm on Thursday 13 April to Monday 17 April 2017.
